HOW TO PLAY?

The game can be played by 2 to 5 players or played in teams.

Place the 86 cards stacked in the middle of the playing space so that the year of the event isn't seen.

Start by reading out loud the first event and the player who comes closest to the year it occurred gains the card. The card is placed in front of the player so that the year of the event is seen and this will be the reference card for the chronological timeline.

The winner of the first card can now continue by reading the top card of the stack and decide whether to place the card on one side or the other of the reference card. Once located, the player can rotate it and check if it has been placed in the correct chronological order.

If the card is placed incorrectly, it will be removed and it's the next player's turn. If the card is placed correctly, it will remain on the line and then there are two options; give the turn to the next player or try to place one more card at the risk of losing the already gained cards in case the card is placed incorrectly.

That way, there's the possibility to go faster but at the risk of losing cards.

Next, the rest of the players will take a first card, turn it over and place it in front of them so that the date of the event is seen. This will be the reference card for the chronological timeline.

Each player in turn will read the top card of the stack and decide whether to place the card on one side or the other of the reference card and later on, on the right place on the timeline. Once located, the player can rotate it and check if it has been placed in the correct chronological order. Every card follows the same procedure.

The game also contains five anonymous cards. You can keep this card giving your turn to the next player or give the anonymous card to another player so that you can play your turn.

You can use the anonymous card on your next turn. If you want to play a second card (risk card) you can use the anonymous card to reduce the risk of losing cards. If the second card is placed wrong you'll only lose that card, instead of all your previous cards.

Each anonymous card can only be used once.

The winner is the first one to get 7 cards in chronological order.

The aim of the game is to arrange the cards chronologically.

You can choose to go faster at the risk of losing cards.

The winner is the first one to get 7 cards in chronological order.

HOW WILL IT BE PRODUCED?

We have decided to produce the game with a manufacturer in Germany. Their factories are powered by renewable energy and they use the best quality materials from responsibly managed forests.

The size of the box will be 134 x 104 x 24mm. It's a rigid cardboard box with two bodies (lid and box) and lined with printed paper with linen finish. Inside the box we will find a cardboard nest where the cards will lie.

The cards' size are 63.50 x 88.90 mm, 300 g and with black core (a thin black sheet inside the card that avoids transparencies and adds strength and flexibility to the card).

We will edit the game in four languages: English, Spanish, Swedish and Catalan.

The cards inside the box will be gathered by a recycled paper tape instead of using wrapped plastic film.

WHEN WILL WE DO IT?

We will produce the game in early 2022

HOW WILL IT BE FINANCED?

In April 2021 we launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The goal was to collect at least 5.000 € in 30 days. We achieved the goal by raising a total of 12.000 euros. Thank you very much to all the people who supported us!
